Bio

Mathieu Coderre is a stuntman, Canadian champion and Pan American medalist in karate, and actor.

He is best known for his work in Scream VI (2023), where he took on multiple roles: portraying Ghostface in the opening scene alongside Samara Weaving, serving as the stunt double for the psychologist (H. Czerny) and detective Bailey (D. Mulroney), and finally appearing as the second Ghostface in the final scene at the abandoned theater, where he delivers the first stab to Chad (M. Gooding).

His career in the horror genre includes films such as Mother! (2017), We Are Zombies (2023), and The Witchboard (2024).

As a stunt performer, Mathieu has met his on-screen demise in various ways—stabbed by Alain Ritchson in the first season of Reacher (2022) and even suffocated with ramen noodles by Derek Wilson in the third season of Future Man (2020).

On the Quebec film scene, Mathieu stands out for his work in productions such as Bon Cop Bad Cop 2 (2017), Classé Secret (2023), IXE-13 (2024), and the popular series C’est comme ça que je t’aime (2022, 2024).

Beyond his performances in films and television, his physical work extends to stage productions, such as the development phase of Cirque du Soleil’s R.U.N. project (2017), as well as motion capture for various projects, including Rainbow Six Siege: Outbreak (2018).
