Bio

Jeff Ward is an American actor best known for his roles as Deke Shaw in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Buggy the Clown in One Piece (2023).
Ward has had several guest star appearances on several procedural TV series, including Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Body of Proof, The Mentalist, and Rosewood. In 2017, he starred as Seth Marlowe in Shudder’s critically acclaimed creepypasta-inspired horror anthology series Channel Zero: No-End House, which was based on Brian Russell's story.

In the same year, he was originally cast as to play Virgil in a single episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but during the table read of the episode, the main cast felt that Ward "nailed it". The cast wanted him to stay on as Deke instead and was asked by a producer to audition for the role – which he was offered and went on to appear in the last 3 seasons of the series. In 2021, he took on the role of Roy Hardaway in Netflix miniseries Brand New Cherry Flavor, alongside Rosa Salazar, Manny Jacinto, and Catherine Keener.

In 2023, the world was introduced to his live action interpretation of Buggy the Clown in the Netflix series One Piece, which based on the manga of the same name. The series topped the Netflix charts, making it one of the most viewed series of 2023 and Ward’s take on Buggy has received countless accolades from TV journalists and the adoration fans have for the character erupted onto social media.
