Bio

Brent Spiner is the actor best known for playing android Lieutenant Commander Data, on the highly successful television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, in four Star Trek films, the final episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, and and most recently in Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard. He also played Lore, Data's "brother", and "father" Doctor Noonian Soong, in various episodes of Next Generation. In 2002, he played B-4 in Star Trek Nemesis. In 2004, he appeared as geneticist Dr. Arik Soong in a three-episode arc on Enterprise.

His career has spanned music, theatre, television, and film, including the role of Dr. Brackish Okun in Independence Day (1996) and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016). Other film roles include Devlin Bowman in The Master of Disguise (2002), Robert Gross in The Aviator (2004), and Ezekiel in the Midnight Man (2016).

He has also appeared in various television series, including a variety of sitcoms like Night Court, Friends, Mad About You, The Big Bang Theory, Frasier, The Goldbergs, and Family Guy. In 2005, he starred in a short-lived science-fiction television series Threshold, alongside Peter Dinklage and Carla Cugino. Other series he’s starred or guest-starred in include Alphas, Warehouse 13, Ray Donovan, Blunt Talk, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, and the horror drama Outcast.

Spiner has also done some voice work, including the animated TV series Gargoyles as Puck, Young Justice as the Joker, and Gall Trayvis on Star Wars: Rebels animated series.

Most recently, he reprised his infamous role of Bob Wheeler on the revival series Night Court.
