OVMF Concert: The Lord of the Rings and other fantasy music

On the menu for Saturday morning: Mario Kart! Inspired by the presence of our guests of honour, the cast of The Lord of the Rings: Andy Serkis (Gollum), Billy Boyd (Pippin), Sean Astin (Sam), and Elijah Wood (Frodo)!

The Film Music Wind Orchestra (OVMF – L’Orchestre à vents de musiques de films), comprised of 50 talented musicians under the direction of conductor and arranger Jocelyn Leblanc, will help the audience (re)discover the soundtracks of their favourite TV shows and films. Intended for film-music enthusiasts as well as novices who want to explore orchestral music from a repertoire they are familiar with.
