Ethan Sacks is a prolific comic book writer known for his work across multiple publishers, including Marvel, Image Comics, and AWA Studios. Before entering the world of comics, he spent two decades as a journalist at the New York Daily News, covering film and geek culture.
Sacks gained recognition for his contributions to Marvel Comics, particularly with titles such as Old Man Hawkeye, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Star Wars: Bounty Hunters. His storytelling often explores rich character-driven narratives within established universes, including his work on Midnight Suns, which brought together supernatural heroes like Magik, Wolverine, and Blade.
In recent years, Sacks has expanded his portfolio with Image Comics, where he co-wrote A Haunted Girl, a supernatural horror series inspired by his daughter's real-life struggles with mental health. Additionally, he recently released the first two issues of Dark Honor, a gritty crime thriller set in New York City during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
