Biography

Tom Felton is internationally recognized as Draco Malfoy, the ultimate bully and Harry Potter’s rival, in the successful Harry Potter film franchise. His acting career started when he was only 8 years old, initially for commercials, but eventually landing small roles for television, like Bugs and Home Farm Twins, but also feature films like the The Borrowers (1997) and Anna and the King (1999). For a full decade, (2001 to 2011) Felton would have his hair and eyebrows dyed at least once a week while he was on set to play the part of Draco in all eight Harry Potter movies.

In between Potter films, he’s had the chance to film a few independent horror movies including The Disappeared (2008), 13Hrs (2010), and The Apparition (2011). Since Potter rapped, he’s kept busy acting in a variety of films including Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2012), and has had two films premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, In Secret (2013), previously titled Therese,opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Belle (2013) alongside Tom Wilkinson. In 2016, he co-starred alongside Joseph Fiennes and Peter Firth, in the film Risen, as well as having a supporting role in Message From the King, which starred Chadwick Boseman.
 
In recent years, he has also turned his sights to television, having taken on a lead role on the first season of Murder in the Firstand a recurring role on The Flash’s third season, playing antagonist Julian Albert (and his alter-ego Doctor Alchemy). Most recently, he starred in the YouTube Premium series, Origin, as Logan Maine.
