Biography

Jonathan Dubsky is best known for playing the role of Josh, one of the lead “hacktivists” in Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2. Jonathan discovered his interest in acting at a young age, but It wasn’t until his late teens that he became invested in the arts as a future career. After taking various classes, performing in plays and musicals as well as a few short films, Jonathan landed an agent and made his television debut on YTV’s Prank Patrol.

Over the years, Jonathan has appeared in CBC’s18 to life, Bravo’s 19-2and FXX’s Man Seeking Woman. On the big screen he has appeared in the films Beastly (2011) with Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olsen, Warm Bodies (2013) with Nicholas Hoult, Pawn Sacrafice (2015) opposite Tobey Maguire and Liev Schreiber and The Hummingbird Project (2018) with Salma Hayek, Jesse Eisenberg and Alexander Skarsgård.

When he’s not acting, Jonathan writes, is an avid gamer and an award-winning filmmaker. He is a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal and has a BFA in Film Production. He has created and directed a web series, several short films, some that have traveled around the globe, music videos and continues to develop film and television show ideas with his writing partner daily.
