Biography

Jennifer Morrison is an American actress, producer, director, and former child model. She is known for her roles as Dr. Allison Cameron in the medical-drama series House and Emma Swan in the ABC adventure-fantasy series Once Upon a Time.

Morrison started her career as a child model, appearing in print advertisements for JCPenney and Montgomery Ward, and commercials for Rice Krispies and Mondo. She was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids with basketball star, Michael Jordan, in May 1992. 

Morrison made her feature film debut at the age of 14 in the 1994 film Intersection, which starred Richard Gere and Sharon Stone. She went on to appear in several feature films, including Stir of Echoes (1999) with Kevin Bacon, Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000), Mr. & Mrs. Smith(2005) with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and played Winona Kirk, mother of James T. Kirk in J.J. Abraham’s Star Trek (2009).
She also has portrayed Zoey Pierson, one of Ted Mosby’s love interests on the comedy series How I Met Your Mother (2011). She has also appeared in the horror films, including The Darkness (2016), which once again starred Kevin Bacon, and Amityville: The Awakening (2017).  

She recently directed the film Sun Dogs, which stars Michael Angarano, Melissa Benoist, Xzibit and Allison Janney and will be released on April 6, 2018 on Netflix.
