Biography

Artist extraordinaire Greg Capullo is a living legend in the field of sequential art. He got his start working for the publisher FantaCo on their horror title Gore Shriek. Marvel Comics took note of his work, which landed him penciller gigs on title like Quasar, What if..?, and X-Force.

Following his work on X-Force, Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane convinced him to take over his penciling duties on Spawn, starting as a guest artist in issue 16 and then full-time as of issue 26. Producing well over 150 issues of that title while at Image, he also worked on The Creech, Haunt, and Angela.

As part of DC Comics' 2011 company-wide title relaunch, The New 52, Capullo was paired with writer Scott Snyder on Batman, reinventing classic characters for DC, and creating critically and fan-acclaimed stories over a five-year period. His other work at DC includes Dark Nights: Metal, Batman: Last Knight on Earth, and Dark Nights: Death Metal.

He has also provided art for World of Warcraft, and album cover art for FFDP, Disturbed, and Korn.
