Biography
Georges Jeanty is a New York Times bestselling comic book illustrator; his first major work was Marvel Comics’ Bishop: The Last X-Man. He is best known for having worked on Dark Horse’s continuation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from 2007 to 2013.
Recently, Jeanty has been putting his pencils to work on Marvel Comics’ adaptation of The Mandalorian. Prior to this, he has worked on Weapon X with writer Frank Tieri, Star Wars: The High Republic, Age Of X-Man: The X-Tremists, Serenity comics from Darkhorse, as well as Gambit, Deadpool, Superboy, to name a few.
Along with his work on many Marvel and DC Comics titles, Georges is known for the critically acclaimed, sixties-era graphic novel The American Way, written by screenwriter John Ridley (American Crime) and published by DC Comics and its sequel The American Way: Those Above and Those Below.
